Born on 11 August 1989 in Rovereto.

Aspirant mountain guide 2014
UIAGM/IFMGA international mountain guide 2018

Eight years into the profession, I look back: dawns full of anticipation, hard work, adrenaline through the roof, happiness, patience stretched to the limit, friendships, stress, enough scares to give me a few grey hairs, great enthusiasm, summits dreamed of and then climbed, memorable attempts, beers at the hut, climbs where I know every move and valleys skied for the first time, sharing.

I consider myself privileged and I love being a guide. It's not just an excuse to spend so many days a year in the mountains: a guide has the opportunity to share special moments with the people they guide and teach.

The base I share with my wife and daughters is Tione di Trento in the Giudicarie valleys, one of the most beautiful places in the world. The Brenta Dolomites, Adamello-Presanella and the Sarca Valley are right on the doorstep. I'm always keen to travel, but at the end of the day the mountains I love most, and will never tire of exploring, are the ones at home.

Mountime is something new for me, and I must thank my friends, now also my colleagues, for welcoming me into this well-established mountaineering school.

Sport climbing and rock climbing in the mountains
At the crag: 7c onsight and 8a redpoint. Crag climbing and multi-pitch routes in Italy (Maritime Alps, Finale Ligure, Valle dell’Orco, Val di Mello, Dolomites, Sarca Valley, Zillertal, Ötztal, Sardinia, Sicily, Capri) and abroad (Corsica, Crete, Spanish Pyrenees, Bariloche, Piedra Parada).

In the mountains: at least 60 new multi-pitch rock routes, mainly in the Sarca Valley, the Dolomites and the Presanella. Repeats of around 300 routes across the Alps, up to IX°, with a particular interest in the classics (Cassin, Comici, Vinatzer, Bonatti, Detassis, Castiglioni, etc.).

Ice and high mountains
Hard classics in the Western Alps (Central Pillar of Frêney, South Ridge of the Aiguille Noire, Grand Capucin, Gervasutti Spur, Walker Spur, Cassin Route on the Badile, North Face of the Matterhorn, North Face of the Eiger, North Face of Les Droites).

Repeats of icefalls and mixed routes in parts of the Alps; around 20 new mixed and ice routes in the Presanella and the Brenta Dolomites.

The MOUNTIME mountaineering school is made up of UIAGM/IFMGA international mountain guides who work full-time in this profession, both in summer and in winter.
