Monte Rosa Crossing

Spaghetti Tour – A unique and spectacular circular route, allowing you to climb several 4,000-metre peaks in just a few days.

Although the route is not particularly difficult from a technical point of view, given the constant movement at high altitudes and the significant elevation gains, it requires good physical fitness, training and a sure footing on the ridge.

Spaghetti Tour Crossing

Day 1: Meet the guide in the afternoon and travel to Zermatt (accommodation and meals in the village).

2°giorno: Salita in funivia al Piccolo Cervino, traversata del Breithorn 4165m e salita del Castore 4221m (salita al Polluce 4091m opzionale ), discesa e pernotto al rif. Quintino Sella 3585m.

Day 3: Ascent to the Naso dei Lyskamm (4,272 m) (optional traverse of the two Lyskamm peaks), ascent to the Piramide Vincent (4,215 m), descent and overnight stay at the Mantova mountain hut.

Day 4: Ascent of the Ludvighohe Pass (4,342 m), continuing on to the Gnifetti Pass and spending the night at the Margherita Hut (4,554 m), the highest mountain hut in the Alps

Day 5: Ascent to Punta Zumstein (4,563 m) (optional ascent to Punta Dufour (4,634 m), the highest peak of Monte Rosa); descent along the Grenz Glacier and overnight stay at the Monte Rosa Hutte mountain hut.

Day 6: Descent from the mountain hut and ascent to Rotenboden station, train journey to Zermatt and return to Italy.
