The Courmayeur ski area offers an excellent selection of off-piste and ski-mountaineering routes. From the summit of Arp, wide valleys and couloirs lead down to Courmayeur, or into Val Veny via the opposite slope. Thanks to the varied aspect, you can often find powder snow of excellent quality.

The descent down the famous Vallée Blanche, a unique and exceptionally beautiful route, runs along the Mer de Glace glacier in the Mont Blanc massif. It stretches for 18 km, starting at Punta Helbronner at 3,466 metres and finishing in Chamonix at 1,042 metres. A descent that winds its way through seracs and crevasses.
