On the first day, you reach the cosy Care’ Alto mountain hut (2,459 metres), where you spend the night. The following morning, you set off with headlamps towards the Cresta Cerana, which immediately offers some enjoyable climbing sections on granite. We continue along the rocky ridge to the summit. From the summit, we descend via the standard route down the north face, with sections of climbing and a few abseils, to the Care’ Alto glacier.

Proceeding along the glacier, you cross over to the Sella di Niscli and then head south towards the starting refuge, completing the circular route.
