Circular trek in the Brenta range

A trek from mountain hut to mountain hut, exploring the Brenta Dolomites.

A 5-day trek through the Brenta Dolomites, exploring the massif on a circular route along the most famous trails, which take us on a journey of discovery through these magnificent mountains and the alpine huts that dot the landscape. This trek is also suitable for children aged 8 and over, with a route designed to increase in length.

Day 1: Transfer or meeting point in Madonna di Campiglio, depending on where participants are coming from. From Vallesinella, we first head up to the Vallesinella Alta mountain hut and then on to the Casinei refuge, where we will spend the night, following the waterfall trail (trail no. 317B) – approximately 3 hours.

Day 2: In the morning, after a hearty breakfast, we set off from the Casinei mountain hut towards the Brentei mountain hut, our destination for the day. The route takes us past the Tuckett mountain hut, then along the Fridolin path (path 328) to the pass of the same name, before descending along the Bogani path (path 318) to the Brentei mountain hut – approximately 4 hours.

Day 3: As a new day dawns, we set off from the Brentei mountain hut towards the Selvata mountain hut. Continuing along the Bogani path (path 318, then 319), we reach and then cross the Bocca di Brenta, before descending to the Pedrotti mountain hut and continuing on to the Selvata mountain hut – approximately 5 hours.

Day 4: We head into the heart of the Brenta massif, leaving the Selvata mountain hut and heading towards Malga Spora. The route winds its way at the foot of the majestic Crozon dell’Altissimo, passing through the Passo del Clamer with unforgettable scenery – 5–6 hours.

Day 5: Our adventure has come to an end and we set off once more to return to Vallesinella. The route takes us over the Passo della Gaiarda and the Passo Grostè to reach the Graffer mountain hut and the Corna Rossa (trail 382) – approximately 5 hours
